Hello, I’m Jenny (she/her)

I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand how their thoughts, experiences and beliefs interact to shape their current experiences of sex and relationships. I provide a positive and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore aspects of their own sexual well-being and relationships. For those experiencing problems with sexual function, I aim to help them to understand more about the relationship between their body and mind and how to re-connect the two.

I create a safe space for people to talk about all aspects of their sexuality in an environment that is sex positive. I embrace human diversity and I am affirming of GSRD (gender, sex and relationship diversity), as well as neurodiversity. My approach is trauma and shame-informed and I recognise the powerful effect that trauma and shame can have on people’s lives.

I have worked in the field of sexual health for over 15 years. This has given me the opportunity to work with and support people who have experienced sexual assault, domestic abuse, and those who are coming to terms with a new diagnosis such as HIV or herpes. Increasingly, my work in sexual health clinics is helping people to understand more about their psychosexual issues such as unreliable erections, pain on penetration or loss of desire. When people present to sexual health specialists, it is often the first time that they have felt able to have these conversations and my priority is to make them feel safe and heard.

I am committed to empowering clients to understand their authentic selves and to be able to move forward with healthy, fulfilling lives. As your therapist, I will be led by you as you share your story and shape your goals and desires. I will meet you where you’re at and support you as you reach towards your personal or relationship potential.
